_Go to the following web site it will scan your computer (if you give it permission) and tell you whether your computer is able to run various games that are on its list. Just select the one you want from the drop down menu. Allow it to download the scanner and after a while it will give you the specifications of your computer and whether they meet the requirements of the game or not.

_Notice how it tells me both what is required and what I have.

_I saw, somewhere I do not recall where, (it was definitely on a torrent website) a patch for the sims 3 that would allow it, supposedly, to play on computers that do not meet the specifications requirements. That, however, may have been only to compensate for a lack of Pixel Shader version 2.0.
