Anyone used an Epson V300 for scannography? If so, is it any good? :)?

Had trouble finding a scanner that's any good.. heard the Epson Perfection 3170 is good, but it's discontinued now :/...

Try turning off some of the programs that you have running in the background, and check your computer for spyware or viruses that might be slowing it down.

If you have a virus scanner, run a full scan. If you don't have one, run a free scan from http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

If you don't have any antispyware programs, download Spybot - Search and Destroy from the link below, and run a full scan.
