I am an Interior Design student, designing a dentist office and I was wondering what kinds of large equipment one would find in a small dental lab. By small I mean the type most dentist offices have built in. And also what exactly does the dental lab do?

Answer
Most dental labs have equipment that assists in the manufacturing of most dental applications. Some of the equipment includes: 3D Dental Scanners, 3D Dental Milling, 3D Dental Post Processing and 3D Dental Planning Software.

Here are some of the equipment specs > http://proto3000.com/dental-milling-machines.php

CEREC Sirona Milling Machine, please help?

We acquired a new Sirona CEREC InLab system. We had to put it into a new computer. We have hooked up the InEos Scanner and the CEREC Milling Machine. The scanner says "Error 200004 Acquisition card error" and also says "Connection to 3D camera disturbed" we have put back in the original belkin firewire card, and have reinstalled the driver, I have also disabled the onboard firewire. I dont know what else to do, the InEos scanner will not work.

Answer
It's new, it's under guarantee. Call your supplier for help.
